COPS are probing after a child was found dead in a seaside town.
Emergency services descended on the property in Arcot Park in Sidmouth, east Devon, after a call reporting concern for a child.
Medics battled to save the youngster - as yet unidentified - but they were was declared dead at the scene.
Police called it a "desperately tragic" incident and said officers are supporting the family.
